BIM / Revit Modelling for a Pilot Plant Skid Effluent System
Overview
Pilot plant skids are compact, pre-assembled process units that demand exceptional accuracy in both design and fabrication documentation to ensure correct assembly and integration on site. For this project, United Service Consultants delivered a fully detailed LOD 500 BIM model of an ECM pilot plant skid effluent system, capturing every component at fabrication-level accuracy.
Our scope also included the creation of assembly sheets derived directly from the model, giving the fabrication team clear, model-accurate reference drawings for shop assembly and installation.
Scope of Work
LOD 500 BIM Modelling
The pilot plant skid was modelled to LOD 500 — the highest level of development, representing every component at its exact fabrication-level size, shape, and configuration — providing a fully accurate digital record of the completed skid assembly.
Assembly Sheet Creation
Detailed assembly sheets were produced directly from the coordinated model, giving fabrication and shop-assembly teams clear, accurate reference drawings for building and installing the skid.
